Technology Farfetched: 50 years from now

As we all know, technology improves year by year. Fifty years from now,the world will basically be "all technical." Robots will play a prominent role in society. They will be way more savvy or intelligent than humans and take on other important forms. Technology will also improve healthcare in ways such as finding a cure for AIDS, cancer, and diabetes. Cars will improve as well. There will be an increase in hybrid cars and there will be less fuel based cars. Weapons of the Armed Forces will be far more advanced (energy and laser weapons). As the years roll by, I hope we can all embrace these great technological changes and challenges.

Reflections for Today

Today began the second day of training and it was even more exciting than the first day. We were introduced to Window's Movie Maker and we also did an exercise using Microsoft PowerPoint. Teamwork was emphasized greatly today and I enjoyed every minute of it. Although we had a few difficulties with Movie Maker, we worked together and overcame those obstacles. Overall, the program was still quite interesting and fun! Thanks to our instructors for their help and patience.

Reflections of an interesting day

Today began the first day of TeachUp training and it was nothing like I expected. My expectations were to learn something new, but the knowledge I gained in one day exceeded those expectations. I enjoyed the way we were challenged to think outside the box as well as communicate with our peers. I gained knowledge of the various programs and documents provided by Google. I found Google Earth to be the most interesting program because it gives you the ability and access to other countries and landmarks without actually being there. Podcast is another program that was introduced to us and I also found it to be both interesting and helpful with interacting in a classroom setting. Today was very informative, entertaining, and fun. I'm very excited to see what tomorrow holds!!
