Today began the second day of training and it was even more exciting than the first day. We were introduced to Window's Movie Maker and we also did an exercise using Microsoft PowerPoint. Teamwork was emphasized greatly today and I enjoyed every minute of it. Although we had a few difficulties with Movie Maker, we worked together and overcame those obstacles. Overall, the program was still quite interesting and fun! Thanks to our instructors for their help and patience.
I'm proud we overcame our problems and challenges as well! We will take the confidence gained from this week and use it in the up coming weeks and months.
ReplyDeleteI love your movie by the way, very appropriate in it's beginning. Although it looks like you also ran into some issues at the end, just like everyone else.
ReplyDeleteBut all in all I think today was an exciting day, and I can't wait for what's next.
Actually I can't wait to hopefully get started in the schools!
Today was a very enjoyable day! I think the fact that we came in finishing up where we left off from yesterday woke everyone up! Getting to do alot of hands-on applications and moving around also helped keep everyone interested and motivated about each tasks we completed...
ReplyDeleteMovie maker made my head ache a bit, but I think I grasp the in-depth dynamics of the program that J.J. and Lynn wanted us to be able to apply.
Hello Keonia
ReplyDeleteWell my group also had problems with the movie maker...and I truly thank the instructors for their willingness to help and patience. Because my group was constantly ask for help with trying to get our movie to save properly and upload. I must agree, I'm sooooo anxious to get started helping in the schools.
It's great to see that you're excited and enthusiastic about what we've been working on. And patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to using technology. There will be times in your school where you will need to exhibit that same patience. One challenge I have for you is expand your future reflections a little more, and go more in depth about the ways you're going to use what you learned during training in the classroom.
